These projects are opportunities to participate in community service as a group of yoga friends. What is Seva?
Seva is the yoga practice of selfless service without expecting anything in return. Yogic philosophy emphasizes the importance of serving others without attachment to outcomes or personal gain. Engaging in community service activities with a selfless attitude can help foster a sense of unity and interconnectedness.
Future Seva Projects
Do you have a good community project that you think would be great for the yoga community to volunteer at? Talk to Katie! In general, we try and keep these projects focused on local community projects and clean ups. If the event is a fundraising event, we are focused on events that all proceeds are donated to local non-profit and charitable organizations.
