I’ll have to say that over the past 18 or so years I’ve practiced yoga with many different instructors guiding me, but Katie is by far one of the most intuitive yogis that I’ve ever encountered.  Katie connects with her students on a level that fosters a comfortable relationship. She is amazing and has definitely made me want to live a healthier, happier and fuller life!!

Katie’s classes are wonderful. I love her personal touch and the extra special way she treats everyone. I can’t say enough about how excited I was to find her.  Her Yoga classes are challenging but yet doable and for my current level of fitness, she makes sure that I am comfortable but yet not feel intimated that I can’t do some of the poses the other people can do. I think that is why people don’t sign up for certain exercise classes.   They don’t want to feel bad about themselves because they can’t do some things that other people can do. I have never felt that way in any of her classes.  I also love her mediation class. I am new to the practice and she always has tips for us each class. I have learned so much and she is changing my life for the better no doubt. She is a real blessing.

So I was lucky enough to end up in a class where I was the only one there and I have to say, Katie must have remembered that I had some previous lower back issues and customized the class accordingly! I enjoyed it so much I secretly hoped to be the only one there at the next visit! Seriously, private classes are extra special!

Katie is wonderful! I attended a special Yoga & Oils class while I was back home for the weekend in Adams. After learning about what oils can do for your yoga routine as well as personal life, we did 1 hour of yoga. Yoga and oils are now my favorite thing!
Prior to this, all I knew about Yoga was the word Yoga and that they use a cute mat. You see, I was recently diagnosed with MS and in chronic pain for constant muscles spasms. I knew Yoga has helped people with MS and I am trying to take some holistic approach to my symptoms. When my best friend demanded I attend, although nervous, I went. I didn’t feel out of place or even like a newbie. I was able to move in all of the positions and even lasted the entire hour with only one 3 minute break (numb hands from nerve pain). I have been feeling great ever since and my only wish is that I lived closed to home so I could attend Katie’s classes more often so I could learn more. You must attend one of her classes!!
